Speaker 1: Alright, Swoop.
Speaker 2: Yeah.
Speaker 1: Gonna work on a little trickery here.
Speaker 2: I love the tricks.
Speaker 1: This is the part you like.
Speaker 2: I like having fun in basketball.
Speaker 1: We're gonna learn the fundamentals first, learn how to play basketball the fundamentally
correct way.
Speaker 2: Right.
Speaker 1: Getting that ball up off the glass, but then we'll add a little twist to it.
Speaker 2: Alright, adding a little bit of flavor.
Speaker 1: Step over here to the hoop. See Swoop, when you're practicing, you want to
hit the ball right off of that square every time. Right there, you see that?
Speaker 2: Okay, okay.
Speaker 1: Use that square and it goes in every time. Okay, this is where you get tricky,
like wizardry. After you've mastered the fundamentals, then you move to the 'behind the back,' still
using the glass.
Speaker 2: And you can make that go in?
Speaker 1: Absolutely!
Speaker 2: I've got to see that.
Speaker 1: Behind the back, right off the glass. I'm not going to try it, I'm going
to let the expert do it. [cheering] [music] He made it look easy, he got it on the first
try. That's how he does it. That's an expert- he catches it right on the move, hits the
glass, and it goes right in.
Speaker 2: He's a Harlem Wizard.
Speaker 1: He is a Harlem Wizard. Now everybody is not that good, to just try that and make
it on the first try. You want to get the fundamentals down first, then you move on to the trickery
and have a little fun.
Speaker 2: Alright, sounds good man.
Speaker 1: There you go.
