Hi, my name is Todd and on behalf of Expert Village today I'm going to show you how to
make stove top popcorn. Now the first thing you're going to want to do is add the vegetable
oil, you can also use olive oil if you like to be a little healthier. But it does taste
a little different so let's go ahead and add some vegetable oil. You're going to want to
add enough to cover the bottom of the pot. Just put a little in it, it's about a 1/4
of a cup now it's important to not to have too much oil. If you have too much oil it
soaks in a little too much to the popcorn to the kernels and it taste a little heavy.
It's also important to not to have just enough because if you don't have enough the popcorn
will burn easier. So having this much will allow us a little bit leave way if we leave
it on just a few seconds too long.
