How’s it going today guys? Today, were talking about the Burton Imperial 2011 boot. This
boot is one of the higher-end boots that Burton does in their line, so it’s got a lot of
take-homes for you. Just a really nice high quality book, as well as loaded with a lot
of features on there. Some of the biggest ones are the speed-lace system, so it’s
nice fast lace system that comes for you guys. It’s nice and quick. All you pretty much
have to do is give it a tug. You have a lower and upper zone here that works out. The nice
thing they do with this one because it’s on the higher end. They give you a little
more of a handle, so can get a little more of a tug on there. You don’t have to worry
about it as much. Also, one of the things that were going to have here; this boot is
going to be more of a mid-flex boot. It comes sport level it’s about a six, so it’s
going to be on the stiffer side of things, for those of you who are looking for that.
It does that because it has a nice spine all the way up the front here, as well as having
these, what are called the S4 panels that run through to give it a little bit stiffer
edge. Also, along this line you’re going to have the shrinks foot bed, so what it has
is if you wear it traditionally size ten, that’s going to be shrunk to at least a
size or a size and one half, so it going to be about eight or nine, depending on what
you have with that. Also, you’re going to have the EST mid-soul system, what that means
is you can just feel the base of the board. It works best with the channel system for
the boards as well as the EST on the binding, so that you really get that total feel of
being able to feel the board underneath your feet and really find out what’s going on.
Also, you’re going to get vibrum mid-soul just really high-quality foot souls on there
for you. Also, you’re going to have nice ice picks in there, so you get a lot of stability
and traction when you need it. On top of that, and in terms of the liner, you’re going
to the imprint three liner which is probably the second highest maybe third highest line
that Burton does. It’s going to be a nice liner that custom molds to your foot especially
within the heel, where people need it the most and the toes as well. It just happens
by wearing it, so just go ahead and put it on your feet and let your body do the rest.
It’s also going to have a nice Velcro system here that makes it so that you can really
have on the front here we have the Velcro that makes it so that when you get a bit of
a tug on there. You can also just retch it up the top by closing up the Velcro there
as you need it, so that you get a nice fit and right to your boot. It’s nice and comfortable,
you got EVA2 foot bed on the inside there, that’s just nice and comfortable fit to
your foot. That is the Burton Imperial 2011, and like I was saying, nice boot overall.
It’s really going to be made for that person looking to be more of an all-out mountain
rider, looking for a little bit of a stiffer boot. Go ahead and check it out.
