Hi, this is Igor and Marina. Today we'll speak about the send-out. This is a bit more upgraded variation of going into the open position.
There is more work for the leader, so we'll start from basic steps for the leader. Usually our basic is: step–step-triple step-triple step.
Or: rock step-triple step-triple step. But now instead of the rock step, we'll do the side step, so we have: side step–triple step–triple step.
Here I go a bit back. Once again: side step–triple step–triple step. Practice this step alone until it starts to improve - with a feeling of "shooting out"
after the side step: side step–triple step–triple step. After you have practiced it, try to do the same with your follower. We'll start with the triple step.
Then we have: triple step–triple step–side step–triple step–triple step. And when we're doing the side step, the leader's right arm is being stretched,
so that the follower can do her rock step. Triple step–triple step–1–2–triple step–triple step. Quite a common mistake of leaders is
remaining at the same place while doing their triple step after side step. You really need to make a "flash" side step at this moment and go back on triple steps.
Once again: side step–triple step–triple step. Another angle: triple step–triple step–side step–triple step–triple step.
There're hardly any difficulties for the follower here but she should try to have a good contact with the leader's arm and shoulder
without any empty space between the partner's arms. During the leader's hinting at rock step the follower is using this connection
(with a feeling of stretching rubber) to "shoot" into the open position afterwards. This is why the figure is quite dynamic and light.
The leader should try to use the energy of stretching and then he sends out the follower with this energy on release.
The main mistake among leaders here is trying to push the follower into the open position with his sheer arm's force doing something like that.
Here it's necessary for the leader to use the "stretching rubber" energy to send the follower out and go back while doing triple steps himself.
And now try it to the music! [Music]
