We've all been in fender benders before and we've all experienced the frustration of
scratches and paint blemishes on our vehicles. Sometimes an entire paint job
can be too costly. But with the vFan airbrush system you can turn those bigger
jobs into smaller ones simply and affordably.
Today we are at Oscar's Auto Body, and we're going to show you how the vFan portable airbrush
system can take care of those annoying blemishes.
My name is William
Santiago.
I work for Oscar's Body Shop, head body man and painter here at the shop. What I was doing today,
making a formula for the vehicle getting all the end coat, mixing all the paint, reduction.
Basically going ahead
and repair
the part that was going to be painted. Through mixing all your formulas, preparing all your
base coats
and preparing all your clear coats, basically just going ahead and preparing
what you want to paint, which in our case I want to say is a six-inch scratch
on a front bumper. Pretty much just have to feather out the scratches. Went ahead and
puttied the area.
After I puttied the area,
went ahead and finished puttying the area by sanding it down starting with a
400 grit sandpaper to sand the putty area.
After the putty area was sanded
went ahead and finished it with 600 grit sandpaper. The 150 Feet air canister
worked wonderful.
A lot of air.
I mean I had supplies left over--still have supplies left over. It helps removing
water, the dust particles on there. It helps. You don't want to go on ahead and
do more work than you have to.
You want to keep it as small as possible.
Do the job quicker.
And we'll go on ahead and lay a nice
clear coat to lose the image of the actual base coat application. The vFan airbrush
works great. I'm very convinced.
Portable.
Which is what you definitely want in the area
of repair.
I'm highly convinced.
As you can see the vFan has turned these unsightly blemishes virtually invisible,
making the car look brand new. Be sure to check us out on the web to learn more
