Hi, I am Tamal Bhattacharya, on behalf of Expert Village. Terracotta, the Italians called
it big art. To begin, a clay object is baked or fired to create a hard seal that is brittle
and water resistant. The baked product is known as earthen work or terracotta. It takes
twenty hours of firing or bake time to make terracotta. The first ten hours are continuous
firing at a temperature of 850 degrees centigrade (1562 degrees Fahrenheit). The last ten hours
are to cool the earthen ware. My firing and cool down is complete and I am going to open
the furnace. I have a total of fifteen completed terracotta tiles or slabs. Thank you.
