We're a marketing automation company. We specialize in
email marketing for sophisticated marketers.
Most of our competitors are SAS based solutions, so they're completely hosted
solutions
which is great for email but the challenge for the kinds of customers
that we're selling to
they have lots of data they need to be able to use in the messages to
personalize a message
and most that data is behind their firewall on-premise so there's this
challenge, well I wanna do a great job with email deliverability
but I also wanna have highly personalized messages. We have about 50
customers right now
we have some great brands: GEICO is a customer of ours,
Activision, makes Call of Duty and Guitar Hero.
Most people with kids know that company. We measure our
our success and our growth in message volume.
So we're sending over 100 million messages a month now
and our goal is to get to a billion messages a month by the end of next year.
I knew enough to know there's a lot I had to learn about
starting a company. I've been involved with startups before,
but never as a founder.
I've had some close friends that were in companies that were ATDC members in the
past, and that's how I really became familiar with them.
I'm not even sure where we would be with without
you know support of ATDC.
