I’'m Heide Pfützner, asking for your help to make this project
- an exhibition of brainpaintings - come true.
I originally came from Mecklenburg,
but have been in Leipzig ever since for love.
I’ve always had an interest in each and everything,
from people and culture to art, sports and travelling.
I'’ve always been fascinated by languages,
and taught English in evening school for decades.
In 2007 I fell ill, and my life has never been the same again.
My family helped me in overcoming my helplessness.
My daughter contacted Adi Hoesle,
who introduced me to his invention of brainpainting.
Through him I got into the university of Würzburg BCI programme
and met Elisa and Loic. They developed a special brainpainting
program for me, and we’ve been a good team ever since.
BP enriches my life,
makes me creative again, and more alive.
I’ve always loved colours,
so brainpainting not only gives me back
indulging in them, but it’s also a challenge.
Being very emotional and spontaneous,
it’s really hard work for me to concentrate
and be systematic.
My daughter works in Scotland and lives on Easdale,
the smallest inhabited island of the Inner Hebrides.
There are no cars, only vast skies and the Atlantic.
Since I set my foot on Easdale for the first time,
I have loved this place and its people.
Building a cairn there
made me realize, this is where I belong.
Here I can find peace and creativity.
Therefore, please help me return to Easdale
to exhibit my first ever brainpaintings.
I want to repay the islanders for the love and sympathy they have given me.
I implore you to support our project.
Danke schön, thank you and merci!
