A consumer alert all
PARENTS with babies need to
hear. Wal-Mart has pulled
ONE TYPE of baby formula from
its shelves, after a newborn
in Missouri died from a rare
bacterial infection. We're
talking about the Enfamil
powder newborn formula. It
comes in 12-point-5 ounce
canisters with the lot number
Z-P-1-K-7-G on the bottom of
the can. A 10-day old baby
died from a bacteria that can
grow in powdered formula.
BUT, the formula's
manufacturer says the batch
Wal-Mart pulled tested
NEGATIVE for the bacteria.
Again, Wal-Mart says it has
pulled the product out of "out
of an abundance of caution."
