alright today's tip is about learning how to split your screen
when you're using the windows 7
operating system
by splitting the screen qw mean having two windows open at the same time
uh... really exactly each one taking exactly half the screen
it can be two different programs, it can be the same program but different
windows, but it's really a handy function particularly if you do not have
two monitors like I don't. But
i have a fairly decent amount of turf here on just the one monitor
how do we do it what we do is we take the cursor can you bring it up here and with
your left button on your mouse grab the top of the window
and then slide it over to the right all the way over
and you may have seen that cursor can light up as we got
all the way over to the side and then it splits that screen so it takes up only
half
uh... the monitor. Now
we open up our other program
and we grab... take our mouse up to the top, if we depress the left button we
grab the window take it all the way over to the left all the way over to the
side. and bingo
when you let go of the button
uh... even before that the
window will magically
take up half the screen so there you go we've split the screen entirely
one-half is this program one-half is the other why might you want to do that now
maybe you're cutting and pasting maybe you're working into programs at the same
time or just two windows at the same time in any event
we hope this helps and you've learned how to split the screen
