Hi, I'm Brigitte from
skis.com. This is Slope Style. I'm here with Alex from The North Face
and we're going to talk about the NFZ
Jacket. Yeah. Which, it's from a new collection. Tell me a little bit about
this collection. Yeah, so the NFZ Jacket is from our Steep Series
Collection. The Steep Series Collection was designed for our athlete team of
backcountry, big mountain skiers and riders and really
designed for their needs when they're accessing these big, sick lines in the
backcountry. So, it's definitely technical. It's a very
technical piece. The NFZ Jacket - NFZ stands for
No Fall Zone - specifically referencing some of the areas that these guys
ski and ride. So, it's technical. What are the features of this coat?
So, lots to talk about on this one. This is a Gore-Tex 2 layer jacket.
It's feature-rich Gore-Tex jacket. We have RECCO chip, we have a
helmet compatible adjustable hood, we've got a snow skirt on this one. The snow skirt is
stretch, right. Also it has clips on it so that way you can attach your pants to it so
if you are in a backcountry situation, a lot of powder, you're not going get
frozen out from the inside. Media pocket on this one. Very important to have your iPhone
available to you just to snap the video or the picture of your buddy that's rolling.
Vislon Zipper on the front, waterproof zipper set up and the wrist
pocket on this one actually has a goggle cloth in it on a stretch bungee so if you are
sitting on a lift or sitting in the snow cat you can quickly squeegee off your goggles.
That definitely is feature-rich. Among other things. Yeah, when we talk about this jacket a lot of times
we take it and we turn it inside-out because there is just so much to reference. Wow.
And that jacket just seems like it's something that,
it's a good investment and that it would last a long time. For sure. Yeah, lifetime warranty on it
this one. Of course you have the Gore-Tex reputation that comes with the protection story on this.
One other important thing to mention that this is a little bit more of an active fit so...
I was going to say, how does that fit? So, this is more of what we would call an active fit. It's a little bit trimmer. This is for
somebody that's potentially is riding with a backpack on that kind of thing so we don't want a baggy
jacket, right. Sure. It is a little bit longer than what you'll find in some of our other
triclimate jackets. It's a 30 inch center back so it is going to sit a little bit below
waist. It's not going to be like freeride length, right. Right. It's going to be a little bit more of a
happy medium. Okay. Well that's a lot of info about this jacket. Tons of info on the NFZ.
Thanks Alex. That's the NFZ Jacket. This is Slope Style with
