Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic will be writing exclusively for smail throughout the 2018
In his first column the former Yugoslavia international, who won 64 caps in his career, takes a look at the five stars he's tipping to shine in
SERGEJ MILINKOVIC-SAVICHe is a fantastic talent but it's difficult to say where I would play him
He's not really a forward and not really a midfielder. He reminds me in a way of Matt Le Tissier when he was at Southampton
Sometimes he might not be a great worker and might spend minutes out of the game but then comes up with a moment of brilliance or a spectacular goal
With one trick or shot he can open the gate. His club Lazio are talking up a high transfer price, clubs here are interested and Juventus, Real Madrid, so this is his chance to show his quality
He is less of a modern player and I think you'd have to build a team around him. Could he play in England? He maybe needs more knowledge of the game here; protecting possession and finishing the action
It's more demanding here but he really does have a 'wow' about him.He has won the at U20 level in 2015 so has that bit of experience and I believe he will bring a breath of fresh air to this tournament
He is unpredictable but a great talent. IAGO ASPASIt's strange that he didn't succeed with Liverpool when he was here, maybe it was because he needed more time to settle
Or he didn't get the opportunities because Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge were in good form
The important thing is he has played at a very high level for Celta Vigo and is now a better player
For three years he has scored plenty of goals in La Liga and is playing with confidence
He is versatile, clinical and in a great moment of his career. He may not be 's biggest star but he can make a big impact
THOMAS DELANEYThis guy may not be captain but he is a real leader on the pitch. We followed him last season for Fulham while he was playing for Werder Bremen and we wanted him but he is joining Borussia Dortmund
He can play in a number of different positions in the midfield, he can be box to box, he can score you goals and he is very strong in the challenge
He could help to be one of the surprises in the competition. He has a great fighting spirit and moves the team in the right direction
EDEN HAZARDSaying watch out for Hazard is not really a surprise but this is a big tournament for him
We know he performs at a high level for Chelsea, his quality is not in question, but this is when we see if he can be a real star (with his national team too)
Is he satisfied with his level or will he be mentioned in the same way as Messi or Ronaldo after this tournament? This is his moment
He needs to push himself that bit more. He has a quality group of players around him and they can give him the platform to enjoy a great
MARCO ASENSIOHe's a Madrid player so he has quality. We all know about Ronaldo and Bale but most of Europe's top sides have been watching this guy
He's fast, he's decisive with his passes and he can score goals. He may not start but he has that quality, that magic that can change a game and is hugely important to
The story goes that Rafael Nadal alerted Madrid to Asensio when he was at Real Mallorca and Florentino Perez rang Nadal to ask his uncle, who was sporting director at Mallorca, to sign him for Madrid
Nadal is obviously a good judge.Follow Slavisa Jokanovic on Twitter:
