It's true that 21st century began in a pretty unexpected way...
for all us who waited that 21st were another century,
not like 20th century,
the century of wars,
growing misery and so on.
But 21st century doesn't seem to be different.
There are those who say, including David Bohm
- he said it very frequently, just like the American Academy of Sciences did -,
that mankind was facing its possible extinction if we go on living this way,
in many scenarios:
possibly atomic, possibly epidemic,
mankind could disappear in an ecologic scenario,
global overwarming and a sudden new glaciation, and so on.
Mankind could disappear in many scenarios.
But there is also another danger: even if mankind survived 21st and 22nd centuries,
as I hope sincerely,
it would also have to be motive of study what kind of life we will have.
If mankind is going to survive,
is it going to be a life of slavery or is it going to be a life of the delight of Unitary Perception?
What kind of life are we going to live?
A life of growing effort...
or a life of Unitary Perception, of joy with no reason,
of recovering friendship, communion, love, peace?
Not only individual peace, which is the base of all the peace that there can be in the world,
but also peace among nations, which could disappear...
for all of us could call ourselves "human beings."
Not only "Arab and Jew," "Northern Irish and Southern Irish,"
or god knows how many more divisions we human beings invent to hurt each other.
I think that without Unitary Perception...
man has showed in five thousand years of written history that he can be the worst enemy of man.
We don't need epidemics or glaciations,
we are our own enemies, human beings.
We have the wars of 20th century,
without going further,
and the wars from Acadia and Persia five thousand years ago,
which have been a common place of mankind:
war, misery, misery, war, war, misery.
It seems that we don't want to get out of that,
which would be very easy.
David Bohm - I was lucky to speak with him during at least twelve years -
said it was possible to dismantle this society,
which he called "Socioentropy,"
dismantle this society and rebuild it without blood-shredding,
because a council of scientists form different disciplines could be made...
and rebuild society in a harmonic way, pacific,
equitable,
free, without tyrants and without stupidities of any kind,
ideological or any kind of stupidity that exist in mankind,
and to live in peace and happiness all human beings.
It isn't so hard,
it's just required to recover intelligence that human being seems to have,
not lost, but it seems that...
human being has renounced to use his intelligence,
and it seems that he embraces stupidity with overvalued affection.
I don't think that the cause of so much pain in mankind is another.
Division, war, misery...
I don't think there is another cause apart of human stupidity in its maximum expression:
to renounce to intelligence.
Now that we have Unitary Perception,
if we could make this to be spread and people to know more,
I think it's going to be much more easier to return to intelligence and compassion,
which can make our life a very beautiful life,
mankind's life, a very beautiful life it can be.
Yes Rubén, now that you mention the diffusion of Unitary Perception,
what difficulties do you see in the diffusion of Unitary Perception for this to get into culture?
All difficulties come from Precinct C,
which is all we know and to which we cling, to keep living as we know,
first of all divided.
Unitary Perception,
which is intelligence in its maximum expression as I said before,
can't penetrate if stupidity continues:
the stupidity of continuing divided, of continuing fighting,
of continuing spending eighty cents from each dollar in producing weapons,
in inventing enemies to create new wars,
or the terrorist enemy who has never been defined...
and then there must be a fight against an enemy who hasn't even been defined,
which is the terrorist,
and all those things that require major intelligent analysis,
could make us,
I insist, recover intelligence, compassion...
and live in a way,
in Unitary Perception,
a very delightful way for all human beings,
with more freedom,
more equality,
education for everybody,
no lack of food for anybody and so on.
Very well, Rubén.
Now, talking about all the difficulties that mankind has…
It has some questions regarding its survival.
I have also heard from you that true Politics is to gather all mankind.
Yes. That’s really true Politics and not the divisions there are nowadays...
and that we can see just opening the newspaper.
I would like you to tell us something about true Politics: to gather all mankind.
If we understand that...
our differences distance us,
we have to work for the differences to end:
racial differences - the ending of racism -,
the differences we have economically - which I don’t know why have to persist -,
that all of us have equal access to the goods of land,
including education, food, a decent roof,
not the huts with poisonous insects,
a decent living, transport
- although it is public transport, which seems to me more sensate than individual transport.
All the things we as human beings could do with a bit more of intelligence.
