Hi, I'm Olga with Grocery Coupon Network and today I'd like to give you some tips and tricks
on how to coupon and save money at Kroger. Kroger can be a really great store to coupon
at because they accept manufacturer coupons, they have their own store coupons, and a lot
of locations double your manufacturer coupons. So double that up with their great sales and
you can really get some great deals. So quickly to go over the kinds of coupons accepted at
Kroger: First off, they accept manufacturer coupons. They accept manufacturer coupons
that you can find in your Sunday coupon inserts that you can get in your paper. They take
coupons that you might find on products, blinkies, tearpads, all of those kinds of manufacturer
coupons they accept. They also accept printable manufacturer coupons. Those are the ones you'll
find on Grocery Coupon Network. You'll also find printable manufacturer coupons on FAcebook
pages of manufacturers or on their websites. Any of those, they accept as well. The great
thing about Kroger is that a lot of stores have a double coupon policy for their manufacturer
coupons. So they will double coupons that are 50 cents or less. They can be redeemed
for up to a dollar. Coupons that are over a dollar will be redeemed at face value. And
coupons 50 cents to a dollar will be redeemed for a dollar. But the 50 cents or less coupons
will be doubled, which is really great. Double coupons do not apply to catalina coupons,
coupons for free items or Kroger ecoupons. You can't double those. But the rest of the
manufacturer ones you can, which is really great - a lot of stores don't do that anymore.
So that's something you'll want to take advantage of at Kroger if your local Kroger does that.
So check with your store. The other kinds of coupons that Kroger accepts are ecoupons
that you can find on Kroger's website. You can print those up or load them into your
card, actually, but you cannot stack those with other coupons, so that's something to
know. They also accept catalina coupons. That's the little machine by the register that prints
out coupons they usually give you with your receipt. They accept those as well. So a few
tips about shopping at Kroger. Kroger BOGO sales - they'll allow you to use two coupons
on a store buy one, get one free promotion since you're purchasing two items. Which is
great because if have a buy one, get one coupon, and there's a buy one, get one sale, you can
couple that up and get free product. Or say you have two dollar off manufacturer coupons,
two separate coupons for a dollar off, and you have a BOGO sale, you can use one coupon
on the item you're paying for and one coupon on the item you're getting free. So that's
a really great thing about couponing at Kroger also. Like we said, you can double coupons
at a lot of Kroger stores. Check with your store to make sure they do double couponing
in your area. They also have a plus rewards card. You can sign up for this at the customer
service desk. For every hundred dollars that you spend at Kroger using your store loyalty
card, you'll receive a deduction of ten cents per gallon on fuel at your next fill-up at
participating fuel centers. So you find out more information at your store about that.
And a good thing to remember is that the coupon policy at Kroger can vary by region. So you'll
want to check with your store. We do have a copy of the Kroger coupon policy on our
website, on Grocery Coupon Network, but you'll always want to check with your store because
it can vary by region. Last but not least, you'll want to check out our Kroger weekly
matchups. We do weekly matchups matching up the latest coupons with the sales going on
right now at Kroger and we take a lot of the work out of it for you, so you want to take
advantage of that. Anytime someone can do work for you, it's a good thing. So I hope
these tips help you save at Kroger. So get out there and start saving some money.
