The icon you see here is known as a Favicon. By default, all SpaceCraft websites come with
the SpaceCraft “S” favicon. If you’d like to change the favicon to your business’
own favicon, it is totally possible. So let’s see how!
Start by going to your site’s settings. Click the gear icon in the navbar.
You will need developer permissions enabled to make the change, so select Users & Roles.
Next to your username, select the blue Edit button.
Check off the Developer box and select Save.
Now, logout of SpaceCraft and log back in to enable the permissions on your dashboard.
Select the newly visible developer icon in the navbar, next to the gear icon.
Under the Developer Tools header, select Body JS.
From here, you will need to paste a special JavaScript code that can be found in the description
of this video or within one of our support articles.
With the code pasted, use your mouse and highlight the string of data that includes a dollar
sign on either side.
With it selected, click the Insert Image button and upload your custom favicon image.
You can see here that we have already uploaded ours.
We recommend a 16x16 pixel or 32x32 pixel image for your favicon, saved as a PNG.
After you upload your image, select Save in the code box. Select Publish if you want to
make it live now.
Go back to your site and refresh.
And there you have it, you’ve added your site’s new Favicon!
Thanks for watching!
