Hi, I'm Jerome Genevray. I'm a short film maker.
I'm writing a guide book to give some tips to young filmmakers to make their independent movies.
And I've created an cinema acting school in Paris.
I've written, produced and directed Le GreenBoy.
This story is about a super normal eco hero in Paris.
He hasn't got any power; he's just dressed in a silly green uniform.
But his big mission is to educate the citizens of Paris to be more eco-friendly.
My goal is to show that you can be a hero if you care about the earth.
It was shot in one day and a half, with no budget or authorization in Paris.
We worked in guerilla mode, with two DSLRs like 7D and 550D
and a small, very talented crew of people.
I edited and colourized it with Premiere Pro on my PC.
But the sound design and mix was made in a professional studio.
A musician and pop rock band made a wonderful score and song.
My advice to the next Celtx Seeds participants
is to write a good story. It's the most important thing, even in an guerilla movie.
And when it's ok, just go and shoot!
Don't wait to have enough budget, because you may never shoot your movie.
The good news is that with the technology (DSLR and computer), you can do it all by yourself. I promise I will keep it a secret!
