Good morning, I'm Paula Moore the posture doctor coming to you live from my bed, incognito
because I have a little bit of bed head this morning. I want to talk to you about sleeping.
Something that most of us do at least eight hours a night and hopefully not too much more
than that. Our body really doesn't need that. If there is one thing that drives me absolutely
crazy, it's when I hear, Paula I think I cricked my neck, I slept funny.
You know what? You didn't sleep funny. I hate to say it but if you're having a night's sleep,
even on the worst mattress and you are waking with a bad back or a bad neck, there are probably
some underlying issues. Remember when you were a child and you could sleep for fifteen
hours and you never seemed to wake with a bad back or a cricked neck, whatever that
is?
And that's because the body was in a lot better shape. We were a lot more active when we were
younger.
So, I hate to say, it's probably not your mattress or the number of pillows but of course
there is an ideal way to sleep and I'm going to show you that now. This is the mattress
I recommend. It is a memory foam mattress. The downside is it's a bit hot, so sometimes
you wake up feeling a little menopausal. Other than that, it is a great mattress. It forms
to your body and you will fall in love with it.
Take a look. Thanks for watching.
