There can be a lot of excitement, and just a little bit of trepidation, when you get
your first iPad and begin to think about how it's going to be used in your classroom
And our goal is to help lower the stress of getting to know your iPad
Much like acquiring a new skill, learning how to use a new iPad can take some time.
We've designed this course and others in our iPad series to walk you through the skills
and understanding needed to effectively use an iPad in your instructional environment
We know that the classroom is an exciting, but very busy, place, and that acquiring new
knowledge in the midst of planning lessons, delivering instruction, managing your students,
assessing them, communicating with parents, administrators, and colleagues can be a very
time-intensive and stressful endeavor We strive to take the stress out of learning
something new When you feel comfortable using the iPad yourself,
it can make it much easier to begin imagining how it can be used to make your instruction
more efficient and effective, by doing such things as reducing repetitive tasks and personalizing
instruction for your students As former teachers and school administrators,
we are passionate about helping you make the transition into using your iPad easy, accessible,
and most importantly relevant There are lots of online iPad training options
out there, but we're excited to bring you this course to better meet your needs as educators
In other words, this is iPad training by educators for educators

to the Internet, updating your iPad's software, Gmail and calendars, creating and Apple ID
