Now to the latest on the crisis in Ukraine.... and the Ukrainian Navy is walking out of its
headquarters in Crimea, as Russian troops are sailing in.
Referring to reports of armed attacks against the Ukrainian military in Crimea, U.S. Vice
President Joe Biden warned Russia on Wednesday of increasing political and economic isolation
if it continues on its path. But despite the threats, Russian lawmakers
are working to ratify a treaty making Crimea part of Russia by the end of the week..
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow
on Thursday to seek a peaceful end to the conflict.
South Korea's foreign ministry released a statement Wednesday, saying Korea will not
recognize Russia's annexation of Crimea... and that it respects the sovereignty and independence
of the Ukrainian government.
