Hi everybody, Donal from Golfbidder here. We're at Killeen castle for one of my Doc's
Dawn Raids. Watch out for them on Golfbidder. It's a unique opportunity to test out loads
of clubs. We've got no tape, no restrictions, you just get up there and hit it. Kevin is
with me and he's looking at the Wilson Shockwave driver. Kevin just give us a quick appraisal
of this driver. Put it down behind the ball and tell us how it looks behind the ball first
of all. Well, it's a big head. Feels like there's a train behind the ball sometimes.
There’s a lot of offset on this driver as well. You can see the hosel is well back.
Nice big head. It is a big head. It a bit bigger than i would normally like but once
you hit the ball it actually feels really good. How does it feel weight wise, it's meant
to be an extremely light driver. It is light. Some people like a heavy driver, some people
like something that is really light and easy to move. This is certainly easy to move. And
in the back swing as well it feel really easy to come through the ball. Ok, hit a ball and
tell us how it goes then. That's a nice strike, a low penetrating flight. And that’s a 10.5
loft, so it not exactly low. So the 10.5 loft still comes out pretty low and penetrating.
A good feel off the club too. I think that's so important. A lot of people like the sound
the ball makes and the way it feels coming out of the face and that works really nicely.
So to summarise the Wilson Shockwave driver. Lots of offset, nice and comfortable looking
at address, nice big head, low penetrating flight, even in the high lofts. That's the
Wilson Shockwave. You can check them out on Golfbidder.
