now is preaching in Maryville, uhm, and I was assigned to preach today. And uh... this
morning was very very VERY powerful. Cause in the morning (9am service) is usually quiet.
I call it personally... CHarisma Baptist Center. But our 11am O'clock service is our pentecostal
service. How are we all doing today? We were doing a series about "BREAKTHROUGH" with Pastor
James, if you want to follow us in Youtube, we are at Charismacenter that is our channel
in Youtube so if you type it in, you could do it right now and listen to it later, Charismacenter
you can see all the latest sermons latest preachings and uh, everything and you could
subscribe to our channel. Also subscribe to our Facebook account at Charisma Seattle as
well. We would like to get personally in touch with you as you be a part of our Facebook
Community of Charisma Christian Center as well. I'd like to start off with a story,
right now. My mother-in-law, my mom came from the Philippines just a few days ago. And usually,
before she comes over here, we just "SKYPE" each other, we go to the laptop and I express
out the phrase the Seattlelite phrase "The Sun Is Beautiful!". And she gets confused
and she scratches her head and she looks at me over SKYPE internet live... why is Ariel
saying "The sun is beautiful?". As we all know in the Philippines it's tropical it's
always sunny and we take the sun for granted. And also in California. So she came over here
a couple of weeks ago and I said "welcome back to Seattle" and it only took her 2 weeks
to realize why we say what we say. Last Friday the sun came up, and she went to the door
she was waiting for that sun she went up and took off the blinds and said "Wow, that sun
is BEAUTIFUL!" it was natural now she understood. Welcome back mommy to Seattle. I'd like to
also welcome back the Saldana Family from Texas. I wish you guys move here pretty soon,
pray for it. We love you guys. God is good? and all the time, Today we're gonna be talking
about "Finishing Strong". right there if you know you came from another country or stayed
here, how many of you guys heard your professor say "Finished or Not Finished Pass your paper
forward." Ok this is it. The title of my message today is finished... or not finished. On the
next slide. Finishing Strong includes The Next Generation. On the next slide. Right
there. Finished or Not Finished. Thank you. So we're gonna be talking about Joshua so
let me ask you this question Did Joshua really finished strong? Did he? I mean I say that
not in a mockingly manner. He's actually my hero. He's one of the greates person in the
bible that everybofy read about. His mughty exploits conquering lands... he's always an
underdog but God was with him, Gos was in him and he keeps on overtaking lands through
the power of God. And I look at his life and I look at the book of Joshua's... and Ijust
stand back and say... WOW! This guy had experienced God, First-Hand. That I can only WISH I could
have. Imagine Joshua growing up. When the mighty Egyptian nation was ruling over Israel
in those times, Joshua and Moses and the rest included in those two generations... they
were leaving and Joshua witnessed first hand the power of God. The most glorious display
of God's Power. It happened only once in history. Nothing like it has been recorded that has
happened before or after. They went out of the Egyptian Nation's land, without raising
a weapon. Probably most of us here in this room has heard of the phrase "Joshua Generation".
It is synonymous with finishing Strong isn't it? Am I right? Are we here this morning?
The whole generation followed God and experienced God in ways that I could only wish I could
have. In ways that WE can only wish have experienced it. How I wish I was there to see when the
Israelites plundered the mightiest army the mightiest nation at that time, without raising
a weapon. How I wish
I
could have been there.
