YOUNG WOMAN: Want to make a zippy chain?
This pattern uses their loom the way it's set up
right out of the box.
With the center column off one peg
make sure the arrow is pointing away from you.
Start with the color you want your border to be.
Put a band from here to here.
And then from here to here.
Move all the way down the loom,
pushing the bands down as you go.

Before you get to the last peg,
connect the band from here to here.
Go back to the start
and repeat down the other side.
Before you get to the last peg,
connect the band from here to here.
Now, taking your second color,
go from here to here.
Take your third color, go from here to here,
and here to here.
Starting again with your second color
repeat all the way down the loom.

Your third color will stop here.
Extend your second color for the last time
from here to here.
Take a band in your border color.
Twist it into a figure-8
and then put it over the last center peg.
Push the bands down.
Turn the loom around so that the arrow points towards you.
Starting at the bottom,
take your hook and grab this band and move it to here.
Next, grab this band and move it from here to here.
And then go back to the middle
and move this band from here to here.
Move to the next center peg.
Reach down and grab this band and move it from here to here.
Then back to the center peg, and grab this band
and move it from here to here.
Then back to the center peg again,
and move this band from here to here.
Repeat this all the way down the loom.
Go back to the bottom of the loom.
Take this band, and move it from here to here.
Repeat all the way down.
When you get to the last peg,
move the band over to the middle peg.
Then starting at the bottom again,
go to this side, and take this band
and move it from here to here.
Repeat all the way down.
When you get to the last peg,
move the band over to the middle peg.
Take your hook and reach down through all the bands
on your last center peg, like this.
Take a band in the same color as your border
and hook it onto the end.
Hold onto the other side and pull the loose rubber band through.
Thread the side you're holding onto the hook.
Gently pull the rubber bands off the loom
with a side-to-side motion.
It will look like this.
Now let's make an extension.
Turn your loom so that the arrows are pointing away from you.
Take about five bands,
starting at the bottom, put a band from here to here.
And then repeat with the other four bands.
Attach your bracelet across these two pegs.
Turn the loom around
so that arrows are pointing towards you.
Grab this band, and move it from here to here.
Repeat until you get to the end.
Stretch the last band over from here to here.
Take a C-clip and attach it here.
Remove it from the loom
and attach the C-clip to the other end.
Your bracelet is complete!
