Right, I'm gonna talk
about the drone - this is the Parrot Drone II
so now
trying to put a GoPro on this thing
doesn't seem to work very well as far as I'm concerned
and the reason is, it's just too heavy.
This thing isn't designed
to carry that much weight
the way I put it on was, I glued a mount
one of the GoPro mounts to it, like this...
and then, I just snap it in like that
make sure it's snapped in too!
I'm not covering this camera
..and I'm not covering those
sensors there so
thats what it looks like. Unfortunately...
it seems to be a little
crazy when this camera is on it.
It sort of goes up and down and all over the place
so...I don't really think that it's viable.
I just think this machine is just too underpowered to handle it,
unfortunately, because quality you get from the
GoPro is unbelievable. It's the
Hero 3 black edition - incredible
camera, absolutely incredible but umm
if you do decide to try and
put one of these cameras on, I suggest you use this mount
and not the other one
your who
I mean which I accidentally used the other day
this one which is double width
presumably it's for the backpack
that goes on the GoPro, and
I mistakenly used this, and I think camera was kinda sliding around inside
I also didn't push the mount all the way in,
and consequently or maybe it was just
incidental the drone, when I was descending
just started oscillating like crazy so,
use at your peril - but you do get a good picture
