Hello, friends, Jonathan Paula with you here again, and on today's video, I have some exciting news, updates, and information to share with you. So, I apologize in advance if this video is a bit long-winded and just filled with lots of exposition.
So, to make it a bit easier for you, I've designed the topic timeline over here to my right. If a particular story that I'm about to discuss doesn't quite interest you, feel free to skip right past it.
All of these things are annotations. Just wait until the entire video loads before you start clicking around.
Our first topic on today's video, as indicated right over there, is Prank House. Between the dates of October 18th and October 24th, in just a few short weeks, Jory, Riley, and myself are flying to Los Angeles, California...
to take place in the world's first reality video game. We're staying at Prank House. Think of it as "The Real World" for YouTubers.
Each week in October, Prank House is inviting 10 YouTubers to live together in a house where they prank each other in a competition-based environment.
And the whole thing is broadcast live on the Internet. You guys can not only watch it live and pick which camera and what room you want to look at, you also can interact with the contestants, live, through the application...
which you can download for free at the first link below. You can unleash a wild goat into the house, you can shoot us with paintball guns, you can electrocute us, all while we're just trying to live together with other YouTubers and prank each other.
So, it's a huge interactive, like "Real World"-meets-YouTube competition, and we're really, really excited and also kind of scared to be a part of it.
The only catch is, while you can download the application and watch us for free, if you actually want to interact and shoot those paintball guns, you have to pay a couple of dollars to get some tokens.
If you'd like to do that or just learn more about Prank House, I encourage you to check out the first link down below. Now, let's talk Microwave Show. I am currently standing in the location of the Jory Caron Microwave Laboratory 3.0.
Jory and I both recently moved to the state of New Hampshire a few weeks back. Hopefully, you knew that already, if you follow us on Twitter or our personal YouTube channels.
Now, don't worry- this does NOT mean anything will happen to the microwave show, except we ARE changing the location we're filming, if only for convenience. So, just wanted to show you guys what you can look forward to when season 9 premieres October 29th.
The fourth thing I want to talk about today is high-quality re-airings of old, classic episodes of the Microwave Show. So, if you're new to the show, new to the channel, I'll be re-posting some videos at their highest possible quality...
and even featuring some old episodes that got flagged that you've probably never even seen yet. So, look for those in the next couple of weeks. We're only going to maybe air, like, 5 to 10.
So, it's not gonna be a whole back-catalogue all re-posted. So, for those who have seen these episodes, hopefully, it won't distract you too much from the new content coming up at the end of the month.
But a great way to get notified of any of that new content when it comes out is to check out our new Facebook application. You can find a link to that down below in the description. Feel free to subscribe to this application.
It automatically notifies you through Facebook when any of us post a video on any of the four channels: Jory's, Riley's, mine, or the main JPizzle channel. We post the video, you'll get notified about it.
It's a really cool way to interact and to find out, you know, what's going on with our videos, because, quite frankly, the YouTube subscription module has been kind of glitchy for, like, the past year.
So, if you want to make sure you have a reliable notification that you'll never miss a video, check out our Facebook application. It is the third link down below.
Speaking of notifications and ways to get updates with us, I would like to now officially announce and launch the new ideo Productions' Twitter and Facebook pages.
In the past, we've had our individual Twitter pages and we've had a fanpage for the Microwave Show. But now, we have one for all of ideo Productions on both sites.
These two pages, the Facebook fanpage and the Twitter account, will consolidate all of the Tweets and status updates from all three of us, Jory, Riley, and myself, any time we mention something about the videos.
So, if we're saying that I went out to Friendly's and I got, like, a delicious sandwich, you guys won't get notified about that. But if I say, "There's a new episode of the Microwave Show coming up this Saturday," you WILL get notified about THAT.
So, it's video only-based Tweets from all three of us in one convenient location, depending on what site you like, Twitter or Facebook. Both things have the exact same content. We hope you check out either of them.
It is the quickest and best way to keep in touch with me, to find out what's going on with the channel. If a video is late, that is where you will hear about it first.
Those, my friends, are the fourth and fifth links down below, the ideo Productions' new Twitter and new Facebook pages. But while we're on the subject, I'd like to remind you that, besides the Twitter and the Facebook, we do have personal YouTube channels.
And not many of you have subscribed to them. So, I thought I'd remind you again. I have a personal YouTube channel. Every day, I am vlogging or sharing my news and opinions with you.
And Riley does very similar things on his channel, as does Jory. So, if you'd like to get a little slice of our personal lives, what we do on a day-to-day basis, what we think about the Flip camera, what Riley thinks about Jwoww...
and what Jory's new house is like in New Hampshire, well, then, I definitely encourage you to check out and subscribe to all three of our personal YouTube channels.
Those links are also in the description down below. And to answer some questions you guys have been having for the past few weeks, many of the shows on the JPizzle channel have seemed to have just gone to the wayside.
I apologize for this. Yes, they have. I bought a house in New Hampshire, I've been quite distracted with it. But don't worry- I haven't forgotten "Roller Coaster Commotion", "Movie Night", and "Three Steps to Success."
All of these shows WILL eventually return. I don't know when for two of them. "Movie Night", season 2, with myself, Jonny Paula, that will be returning, hopefully, in mid-November.
"Three Steps to Success", I hope to post some new videos sporadically over the next couple of months, as soon as we get some more ideas and time to film.
And "Roller Coaster Commotion" was a show I was hoping to film this summer. Never got a chance to fly to any new amusement parks. I was thinking Cedar Point in Ohio. Never got a chance to fly out there.
I still might try before it gets too cold out. If not, I'm gonna shoot for the spring of 2011. Maybe we'll see new episodes then. Just stay updated on the Facebook and Twitter pages, and, if I have any new updates, I will share them with you there.
I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm not just killing those shows off. I just haven't had a chance to bring them back properly yet. That about does it for this video, though. It has been extremely long-winded and, hopefully, very informative.
You've learned a lot. Biggest announcement, though, in this video is the Prank House dates, October 18th through the 24th. Jory, Riley, and I are going to be in Los Angeles, in a house with paintball guns that you can shoot us with!
That is the first link down below, again. Thank you for watching, folks, and remember- please don't forget to subscribe or comment on this video with any additional questions or comments you may have about upcoming videos, this video, past videos...
because I honestly DO look through and read all of them. And until next time, my friends, my name is Jonathan Paula, and I hope to see you right back here in the very near future.
