Hi, I'm Gary for Expert Village. Now that our images have been edited in 'Photoshop'
and resized, we're going to go ahead and open up the 'Adobe Image Ready' program. And this
is the program we're going to use to actually create the animation with the photos that
we've edited. So let's go ahead and open up those images. Remember we saved them as gif.
files, and those are the ones we want to use because the final images, image the animation
is going to be a gif. file. And now we have our two images open and they're sized properly
so that we can overlay one to the other and have a nice animation effect. What we're going
to do now is go ahead and overlay the images. I'm going to take the one image and just drag
it over to the second image and here we have now, we see down on the bottom that we have
in the one image, we have now two layers. One layer's going to be the original picture
and the second layer that we just created is going to be the layer of the mask that
we just dragged on top. I'm going to hit, go ahead and close the mask image, the original
image and we're going to be working primarily with this image which has the two layers associated
with it. And, what we need to do is we need to overlay the image in the most exact way
to create the nice animation effect that we're looking for. So the way to do that is make
sure that the, that one layer is selected, and that layer that's selected, we're going
to change the opacity of that layer, make it a little bit opaque so you can see, kind
of like a transparency. So you can see through it. And we see that this is the effect that
it has when it's transparent, we put it down to about forty percent. And, now we can actually
see through that top image of the mask and I'm able to line it up with the image below.
I'm going to go base it on the on the eyes and the mouth. And I'm going to go ahead and
just place it on top in the most precise, get as close as possible, and that's going
to make a nice effect when we do the animation. So now I can go ahead and put the image back
to it's normal opacity, put it back to a hundred percent. And now we see that the image is
back to its normal clarity but we still have both layers there. So now with both of those
layers in our single image, we're going to work with it to create our animation.
