Welcome to Revelation Unraveled. I'm your host William Tapley, also known as the Third
Eagle of the Apocalypse and the Co Prophet of the End Times. The topic of today's program
is part 2 of our series on chapter 9 verse 27, of that great Old Testament Prophet, Daniel,
where he writes about the 'abomination of desolation' and the confirmation of the covenant.
These are two of the most misinterpreted passages in the entire bible. Remember what Jesus said
about the false prophets in the End Times. Let's read Matthew chapter 24. Jesus says,
'take heed that no man seduce you, for many will come in my name saying I am Christ.'
In other words, the false prophets will claim to be Christian and Jesus says they will seduce
many. Today the false Prophets say that the confirmation of the covenant is between the
AntiChrist and Israel. And they say that the 'abomination of desolation' refers to animal
sacrifice set up by the Jews in modern day Israel in a rebuilt temple. All of these are
false interpretations of the End Times. It's important that we understand just what Daniel
and our Lord Himself are talking about in the Olivet Discourse, and in chapter 9 verse
27 of Daniel. We should remember that Jesus does not say, there will be no true prophets
in the End Times, and Saint Paul warns people, do not despise prophecy, but rather test the
spirits. You yourselves must test whether my prophecies are true, or whether the false
prophets are true. In part 1, we discovered that the confirmation of the covenant is between
the prophet Elijah and the remnant Jews which he converts. There is nowhere else in scripture
that any covenant is made with the AntiChrist. There are many passages that describe the
conversion of 144,000 Jews. In part 1, we noted that when Jesus says 'let those who
are in Judea flee to the mountains', he is referring to these 144,000 converted Jews.
And we also saw that in verses 16, 17, 18 and 19, Jesus refers to the other three groups
who will join with the converted Jews in the millennium. Those who are on the rooftop and
cannot go down, but therefore must go up, refer to the raptured Protestants. Those who must
flee the field, are the protected Catholics who flee into the desert, and when Jesus says
'woe to those who are with child', then he is talking about martyrdom. Those are the
four groups who will reign in the millennium, the converted Jews, the raptured Protestants,
the protected Catholics and the holy martyrs. Now let's turn our attention to the 'abomination
of desolation'. In verse 26 of Daniel chapter 9, we will find clues about the 'abomination
of desolation' from the two personages Daniel describes. The Messiah who was cut off, refers
to Jesus the bridegroom, and the Roman General Titus, prefigures the AntiChrist who will cause
the 'abomination of desolation'. These two individuals also prefigure two of the groups that we have
been talking about, who survive into the millennium. Jesus the bridegroom, symbolizes the raptured
Protestants, who will go in to the marriage supper of the Lamb. The Roman General Titus,
symbolizes the Roman Catholics, who will flee into the desert under the protection of their
patroness the Blessed *** Mary. In verse 27, as we mentioned, the Prophet Elijah will
confirm the Messianic covenant with 144,000 remnant Jews. And then Daniel writes about
the one who will cause the oblation and the sacrifice to cease, in the second half of the
Great Tribulation. That, of course, is the AntiChrist. And the AntiChrist represents
the fourth group we have been talking about, the holy martyrs, because he is the one who
will cause their martyrdom. But what is the 'abomination of desolation' which causes these
four groups to flee from the AntiChrist in the End Times. First of all, the 'abomination
of desolation' cannot be ritual animal sacrifice, as practiced by the Israelites in the Old
Testament, because our Lord never required animal sacrifice. The sacrifice he established
was the symbolic sacrifice of the Eucharist, or the Lord's Supper as we call it. And He
established this at the last supper with his 12 apostles. Even if the Jews, in modern day
Israel, somehow managed to re-establish animal sacrifice, that still will not fulfil the
prophecies of Daniel. Let's review the four times that Daniel writes about the 'abomination
of desolation'. First in chapter 8; 'and it was magnified even to the prince of the Host'.
Now the 'it', in this passage refers to the AntiChrist. The prince of the Host, of course,
is Jesus. And Daniel continues, 'and it took away from him the daily sacrifice'. This means
the AntiChrist takes away from Jesus the daily sacrifice. This cannot be animal sacrifice.
Now in chapter 11, Daniel writes, 'and they shall take away the daily sacrifice and place
there, the abomination of desolation.' Now in this case, Daniel is writing about animal
sacrifice, because the one who takes away the sacrifice, is Antiochus Epiphanes. How
do we know that this is Antiochus Epiphanes? Because there are many more prophecies which have
been fulfilled following this prophecy. In the other three instances, where Daniel writes
about the 'abomination of desolation', his description of the events come at the very
end of the chapters. In other words, the abomination that he is writing about then, is about the
End Times. In this chapter, chapter 11, Antiochus Epiphanes prefigures the AntiChrist, and when
he takes away the animal sacrifice, he prefigures the End Times taking away of the symbolic sacrifice
of Holy Communion from all Christians throughout the world. Now let's look at chapter 12.
'And from the time that the daily sacrifice has been taken away', that is from the time the AntiChrist
takes away Communion from all Christian churches, and the 'abomination of desolation is setup',
that is the false idol, which will be himself, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety
days'. Now this is approximately three and one half years, but the 1290 number is a symbolic
number, and when you add up the integers you get 12; 1 plus 2 plus 9 equals 12. That means
that the events we are talking about here, come in the End Times, because 12 is an End
Times number. And Daniel continues, 'blessed is he that waits and comes to the thousand
three hundred and thirty five days'. Again, a symbolic number; 1 plus 3 plus 3 plus 5
equals 12. This number is not meant to be taken literally. These are symbolic numbers
of the End Times. Those who Daniel refers to as 'blessed' in this passage, refer to the
same four groups we mentioned earlier. In fact in Revelation, Saint John calls each
of the four groups 'blessed'; the raptured Protestants, protected Catholics, the
holy martyrs and converted Jews. Thus, we've seen on this series, that the confirmation
of the covenant is not with the AntiChrist, nor does it trigger the seven years of Great
Tribulation. What will trigger the seven years of Great Tribulation is World War 3. Nor is
the 'abomination of desolation' ritual animal sacrifice, as practiced by the Israelites.
The 'abomination of desolation', which we will see in the temple, which is not a Jewish
temple, but rather in Christianity and the Catholic Church in particular, is the taking
away of the Eucharist or the Lord's supper from all Christians throughout the entire
world by the evil dictator, the AntiChrist. Now if you would like more information about
