Hi! How are you? I'm finally here with you to show you how to do Guess's Look
As you know, this kind of videos takes me about a day to film, so I'm happy to find the time
As you can see, this is a hairstyle with volume
As you could see on the photos, the makeup is based on slanted eyes
and you will now see the wardrobe.
Let's see how to do the makeup.
MAKEUP
Let's start with the makeup. As you can see it's a makeup with slanted eyes...
you know the photos are in black and white, but you can choose more pink or brownish colours
it depends on what you like. Alright, let's start ^^
I will start by applying a primer. I will apply it on the eyelid
I will extend the primer with my fingers...
I will also apply it in the lower eyelid
I will now use a rosy eyeshadow
a little bit of gloss...
and will just apply it on the upper eyelid
I will find a very intense black eye pencil
this one is also quite creamy...
I will procede to outline all the upper eyelash line...
I will try to keep as close as possible to the eyelashes
so there won't be miss any area and leave blank spaces
we will afterwards close it up nearer to the root of the eyelashes
I gradually thicken the line
and I will start to delineate the external part, just a little for the moment
I will continue to thicken the line, from the outside, inwards
I'm going to draw a diagonal like form...
With a flat brush like this one
I'm going to apply on it some black eye pencil
and I'm going to lenghthen a bit more the external end of my outline
I'm going to repeat the tracing of the outline with it and fiddle around my eyelash line, for any spaces we might have missed
Now, with a flat brush, I'm going look for a matt black eyeshadow
and will now go over my pencil outline
to seal it and give a more intense black look
and to enforce the matt look
I will finish outlining the edges...
with this same brush
and now, the tail
I will put some more shadow and will do the same on the other eye...
I will now outline the lower eyelashes...
with the same shade and brush
but I won't outline all the way to the tear conduct
I will stop a little bit before that
I will now find a white eyepencil
and will procede to delineate all the lower waterline
up to the tear conduct...
I will curl the eyelashes
and will apply a mask
to continue we will use a slanted brush
I will fill in the eyebrows with "these" two colours
I will fill in the areas with less hair...
nevertheless I want to achieve a natural look
I will now fetch a tipped brush
I will use a matt brown outliner...
I will apply it right below the cheekbone line
and the temples
I will now use a rosy blusher
and with a brush like this one, I will apply the delineator on my cheeks
I'm going now to use a enlightener, you can use the one you prefer
and will apply it just on the upper cheekbone line
applying upwards a little towards the temple
apply just below the brow...
and just above the upper lip...
I will now use a outlining pencil and with the same colour I used for the face I will enhance my eyesockets
I will now use a rosy lipstick
and will apply on my lips
This was the makeup and will now leave you with the hairstyle ^^
HAIRSTYLE
We will now start with the hairstyle as you can see it has quite some volume in it
it has an unkempt curly look at the lower part
and with volume on the upper part, although in general all the hair has volume
Let's see!
You may have noticed that all the hairstyles in vogue are with volume
so I will start by backcombing
I will separate in section and will begin backcombing from the lower part upwards
A comb like this one and let's begin the backcombing
You see what I do with the comb? I insert it, turn it a bit and move a bit upwards...
insert, turn and move upwards...
If you find it difficult, you can also do it with a comb like this
You just have to do this gesture... backcombing upwards
I will now take another section...
place it around here...
and the rest I will keep up here...
I will continue backcombing...
on the top...
on the back...
it's important to give volume specially on the hair's root
Alright? Let's continue backcombing the other side...
if you notice you are loosing the effect for some reason, apply hairspray as you work
if you are like me, and the hair holds the shape, apply hairspray at the end
Let's grab another section, for example, like this one
we do the bottom..... we do the upper part....
don't "get afraid" of all the volume we are creating, this is easy to control afterwards
as you know, when we want to undo a backcomb, you just use the fingers
you have to disentangle the knots with the fingers, starting at the tips and working upwards
you use the fingers as a rake, starting from the tips and up... alright?
don't use the comb for that or you'll break the hair
Now I'll begin creating section in the back part....
I get the sections and backcomb...
With the hair that is left at the front, I will backcomb it towards the back and the sides...
I will slightly backcomb it at the root to start with...
I backcomb just a little and place it backwards
I then comb slightly this section..
I get another section and this one will be place backwards and sideways...
Let's backcomb slightly again
and let's place it back and to the sides...
I comb once more, very slighty, so we don't undo the backcomb effect on the lower layer
I take grab of another section this belongs to the fringe area...
I backcomb in the same manner...
slightly...
and I will distribute evenly to the sides...
and now this part of the fringe can be left here at the front, or we will see what I think off
Now we use a curler, this is a 33mm...
and will place it at 200ºC
I will leave the fringe like this for the moment
I will procede to apply heat protector on all the area of the hair tips...
This is the protector I use, but do not worry, all the products I use on the video are always listed on the webpage
You will find there all the product names and where you can find them
If you have curly hair, to do this, you must previously iron or dry straighten it...
so it will be easier, alright?
I have the curler now heated up, so I will procede to divide my hair in sections
like this
and we'll begin curling
I will open here...place the curler on the back... close... and will begin to turn and let go gently on the pin
you see? I open slighty the pin and continue to turn the hair inside
like this, all the hair is evenly curled
Because if we just pin the hair and curl, we won't achieve a homogenous look. That's the reason we let go as we curl
Here you can see the first curl
Let's grab another section
Let's do the same...
open...
grab the hair...
and begin to curl...
and in this manner I slide down opening slighty the pin, so I will curl evenly the lock
alright
this one is curled as well
let's take another section and repeat exactly the same...
I let go
and it's also curled
I do the same here, I place the curler behind...
I place the hair inside and slide down opening the pin throught so I will get it even...
we continue to do the same...
You can observe that when we curl, we loose some volume at the lower part
If you wish, you can backcomb again
we get the comb below the lock... and let's backcomb...
if we continue to backcomb a little, we'll see that we'll achieve some volume
let's do the same on the other side
I will leave the fringe just like that
falling a bit like that
I will curl the tip outwards with the curler
Let's place the curler at the back.... and turn...
and like this we achieve this look outwards
let's take this one and do the same...
place the curler on the back, close and turn...
If you want you can place a turban, or place the fringe in the manner you find appropiate...
this would be "play around" and see what you like most
I will leave it like this and apply hairspray
I will use this one, ecological and extra-strong
and apply it over all the hair
on all the curls.... on the top part, the roots.... on the back....
on the fringe....
That's how the hairstyle will look ^^. Let's procede with the wardrobe.
In the dress theme, I will use some different accesories...
I will combine them in different ways to create different looks
I will use this jacket, it's from Zara... it's a leather imitation...
and with animal print on the inside
also this dark denim shirt...
that has here two little pockets...
long sleeve...
I will use some skintight pants...
these white ones...
they are from Stradivarious
these dark ones, denim skintight...
also from Stradivarious
as accesories I will use this bag here...
it's from Blanco
with this kind of chain...
here you have this other one, with various pockets...
it also has a chain attached...
this Blanco belt
that is kind off elastic
and has here this ornament...
a neutral colour belt, like this one...
this one with animal print
these platform shoes...
and these black ones I showed previously
this ones I bought on Zara, by internet
