If you're going on a trip with toddlers, or you just need something for them to do, a
play kit can be a very useful way to keep a toddler engaged and interested. A little
bag of toys and fun things to do can be fun to put together and even more fun to play
with. Find a small bag or junior backpack..
It needs to be something that is easy for the toddler to carry, open and put things
back into. Choose toys to put into the bag..
Depending on the child's personality, here are a few suggestions:
Dolls with toy diapers, toy baby bottle, toy food, clothes, etc.
Toy cars, trucks and a fold-up street-scape. Ball, small rackets, other outdoor activity
items. Other miscellaneous toys that you know the
child will like. Add some creative elements..
For example, some crayons and a coloring book. A booklet with blank pages can be really fun
too, for free drawing. Give the child something to model with..
Find some suitable modeling clay, play-dough or similar dough. Place it in a plastic container
with a lid. Include a plastic fold-out mat for playing on. Place all of into a large
resealable bag and slip into the carry bag. Add any other items that you know the toddler
will enjoy playing with and wet wipes for cleaning up..
Thank you for watching!
