I have already prepared images for the multiple brush. You can make your own brushes with PhotoShop or Gimp.
If you have the image(s) you have to Import them in Manga Studio. File >> Import>> Image File
Select your Image.
Check the Properties. You can scale your image if your want. In the Image Adjust panel check the following.
You can rename the Layer name. Select the right resolution.(In this case 600 DPI). Set the Color reduction method and the Color Model too.
In this case I choosed a grayscale image. Color model is Gray (8bit). Color Reduction Method is Do not Reduce Color. ( These settings maybe different depending on your Brush colors.)
Now we have to save the Brush images. I used the last two ones, the two sparkling.
Select the images one by one. Make sure nothing left out. I use the following Select Rectangle Tool Options.
Go to Edit >> Save Pattern as Brush Material...
Name your brush. Select your color model. Turn off the "Create New Tool Option Setting from Brush Material" option. In this case we want to make a multiple brush, so we do not need setting for this single brush.
If you turn on the "Show Transparent area" icon you can see exactly what you will be saving. It's really useful for white color Brushes.
Repeat the same thing with the other image.
We have saved the images for our brush. Now we have to make the settings for the multiple brush. To do that we have to make a new Brush Collection for it.
Choose Pattern Brush Tool. Open a brush.
Click the "New Setting" option. By doing this we will create the setting for our brush.
Name the Brush. Choose the " Stamp" as the style. NOTE: Never let the Current Settings as the style. It will override your current brush!
Now we will make a New collection. ^^
On the Tool Options palette, General tab you can see the preview of your shape. Click on the shape name. A window will pop up.
This the collection named '"Favorites". Every Brush you saved will be saved here.
Click on the "folder" Icon. It allows you to Edit your Pattern Material Collections.
On the Left panel you can see all of the Collections, however in the right panel only the Collections made by you. ( Default Collection is the "Favorites") We have to make a New Collection only for the brushes you want to use for your Multiple Brush.
"New Collection of Materials" will make a new collection. Name it. It will appear in the Right panel afterwards.
On the left panel Select the "Favorites" collection where you can find the saved brushes.
You can select the preview style and how to arrange the brushes.
Select the brushes and with the arrow copy to your New Collection.
Select your New Collection. By doing this you select the brushes that your Multiple Brush will use. (It will use every brush in the selected Collection)
Click on one of the brushes. An Then again the name of your brush.
Now you can only see the shapes of your New collection. You can see the current shape with red stroke and the brushes in Collection. ( I only have 2 brush in this Collection, but the Current shape is always appears as the first one.)
Change the brush type from "Single" to "Multiple". There is 3 Multiple Brush type. I prefer the Multiple (Random) type. Try out to see which one fits to your liking.
Now we have the Multiple Brush. We only have to do is Set the other Settings. ^^
Click on a setting and the Brush Controll will appear. Set the size and any setting you want.
I you are finished the only thing is left to test the new Brush.
Make a New Gray layer.
On the preperties palette set the Color reduction method to 'Do not Reduce Color" to have a better preview.
As you can see the wider and the thiner sparkling brush image both used in this Multiple Brush.
You can set the current setting as default if you want to.
The End.^^
