Hey everybody, it's Mike. I took the two day handgun course at Front Sight not that long
ago and I was blown away on how much I learned. The instructors there were super awesome:
they were kind, helpful, and not only those, but they were really funny too, which, in
my opinion, that helped me learn a lot. And when I got home, I was doing dry practicing
like they told me to do, and I was feeling kind of uncertain if I was getting everything
alright, so I downloaded the app, the Front Sight app. It was like having an instructor
with me by my side, telling me what to do one on one. I found it to be super easy to
navigate through. There are a bunch of great videos on the app as well that can help you
refresh your memory if you have any doubts on what you're doing wrong. And the great
thing is, even if you don't have any cellular, if you don't have any connection to wifi,
or if you're on airplane mode (hopefully you don't do this in an airplane,) you can still
get the verbal walk-through's to help you dry practice. In the next part of the video,
I'm going to show you how to do the type one malfunction with the app.
This is my dry practice area. There's a cement wall and behind that is a whole bunch of dirt,
and yeah. Let's get started. Let me know when you're ready to continue. Ready. All right!
Point in. Hard focus on the front sight. Ready. Finish up with after action drills. Safety
on or de-***. Standby at the ready. Let's go ahead and set up for another type one malfunction.
And that's how easy it is to use the app! Thank you, Front Sight, for making this for
us, and everybody should get one! I forgot... there were... thank you Front
Sight... ah dangit.
