LCI Paper currently offers five different grays, or silvers, if you prefer. They each
have a double sided metallic finish that comes from a mica infused coating and on their own
each one looks like a standard silver sheet, but there’s more to gray than meets the
eye. When these sheets are placed next to one another and compared as a whole, you’ll
see each one is slightly different. So which silver is right for your stationery? To help
you decide we’ve compared them all for you and relayed the results for you from lightest
to darkest in this quick video. At first glance, Curious Ice Silver is more of a white metallic
than a silver one, but take a closer look. As so appropriately implied by its name, Ice
Silver is an iridescent paper that is bright sparkling white in some lights and ever so
slightly silver in others. The subtle sheen comes from tiny silver mica flecks and makes
this paper a great choice for incorporating just a tasteful dash of silver in your design.
Next up, Aspire Petallics silver ore is our first real silver, shall we say. On its own,
it's a nice, light, brushed silver, but when placed next to its silvery counterparts, a
faint hue of color is easily discerned, making this sheet appear almost antiqued. This slight,
secretive dash of color makes Silver Ore really soft on the eyes and truly sets it apart from
the rest. Slightly darker than Silver Ore and with no discernible hints of color, Stardream
Silver is what you think of when you think metallic silver!
It has shine, it has shimmer, it has iridescence, and it has ultra modern style, making it your
silver go-to! Curious Galvanised is like Silver Ore in that
when it’s placed next to others, it displays an otherwise hidden hue – in this case,
a bluish hue. But its own, Galvanized is a fairly dark shade of silver with an utterly
fantastic finish!Slightly rough to the touch and practically dripping with mica crystals,
Galvanized is quite a sight, and makes for quite the creative project! Finally, we have
Curious Ionised. This is a more of a metallic charcoal than a metallic silver, but like
its pal Galvanised, Ionised has the same slightly roughened, super shimmery surface. It’s
dark, dramatic, and is sure to make for a wow-worthy design. If you have any questions
about any of these silvers be sure to get in touch with us.
