It is day 24 of the 30 days I have to write my novel.
And I am approximately 40,000 words in.
That means I have 10,000 left...
and about six days to do it.
So, I think I'm doing pretty good.
I'm pretty excited about that.
This is my first year as a Nano Wrimo participant.
Nano Wrimo is short for National Novel Writing Month.
It's an annual event that takes place every November...
and the goal of Nano Wrimo is to write a 50,000 word novel...
between the dates of November 1 and November 30.
The cool part about Nano Wrimo is that everyone has an idea for a novel bouncing around in their head...
but no one ever really takes the time to put it down on paper.
So, if you have a novel in front of you, no matter how poorly it's written,
if you have a 175 pages of ideas then it's a lot easier to go back and edit those ideas...
and someone you want it to be.
As opposed to just sitting there,
your whole life, with an idea with a novel in your head...
and never actually getting it out.
