Welcome to MFB-TV on a Thursday 1st November. Half term is nearly over and slightly less
than two months to run to Christmas, so lenders are finally focusing on the need to get offers
out and, more importantly, to get completions done for customers before the end of many
people’s financial year on 31st December. To add spice to the mix, we have repositioned
out Keystone product range and we are moving from a maximum loan amount of £350,000 per
property to £500,000 with immediate effect. To deliver greater benefits to the professional
landlords, we have now agreed that we will add fees onto the HMO product range and the
multi-unit on a freehold block (MUFB) range as well, so that means you do have a true
75% borrowing with the fees added on top. We have recently repriced the five year products
as well and improved the stress test there, to allow those properties on lower yields
to get more effectively to the full 75% LTV. So we hope that you, as professional landlords,
whether with HMOs, MUFBs or properties in limited company names will agree this exciting
development from our product range delivers better value to you.
