Here Alexander Rybak gets his film debut in the movie Yohan barnevandreren.
This is just a funny project for me, it’s like you can’t call it a film debut. The role is so small.
The scene with Rybak is the opening scene and here he gets the chance to bring out his violin.
It is like a music duel between Yohan and the gipsy Levi, a duel between Norwegian folk music and gipsy music.
It is Alexander Rybak who plays the gipsy fiddler and Robin Daniel plays flute.
Even though Rybak plays a small role he plays a central position at the beginning of the movie.
This is actually quite like Fiddler on the Roof, I start the movie by playing.
Only this time I play together with the main character, Yohan, and that’s the scene they tempted me with.
You are going to do the opening scene, and that’s cool because then I don’t need more scenes.
The producer is very pleased with getting a Eurovision-winner in the movie.
That means a lot and I think people are very happy about that.
