One of the most common questions studios have is this. "When should my dancers order their supplies to ensure they arrive in time for our event?"
The answer is simple. For costume items allow 16 weeks between your dancer's Order Deadline and the date you would like the items to arrive in your studio - we call this the "Required In Studio Date".
For dancewear items such as tights, shoes and leotards, allow 10 business days between your dancer's order deadline and your Required In Studio Date.
Here's how to set your Order Deadline. We're going to assume you've already assigned the products to your class.
The first thing you'll need to do is find the correct class you'd like to edit...so go ahead and log into your CostumeManager.com customer portal.
Once you're logged in, click on the "Admin" link in the top navigation.
Click on the "Classes" tab.
If you don't see the class immediately in your list of classes, it's best to conduct a keyword search for the class. In the top left-hand side of the page, type a keyword...such as "Jazz" into the search field. 0:00:59.635,0:01:62.346 In the pulldown menu, choose "Classes". 0:01:62.346,0:01:64.307 and then click "Go". 0:01:68.998,0:01:74.559 Notice the list of classes all contain the word Jazz. This makes it easy to find the class you'd like to edit. 0:01:76.022,0:01:80.233 When you locate the class you'd like to edit, click on the "Class ID" number. 0:01:82.662,0:01:91.223 The "Class Edit" window will appear. Click on the "Edit" button at the top of the window. Click on the "Order Deadline" field and choose a date from the calendar. 0:01:99.995,0:01:103.456 When you're satisfied with the date, click on the "Save" button. 0:01:107.390,0:01:111.301 The Order Deadline date will now appear on the dancer's costume worksheet.
