Today on our 2013 Ford Escape, well be test fitting the Thule Flat Top Ski and Snowboard
Carrier, part number Th92725. Now with our Thule Roof Rack System already assembled onto
our vehicle, well go ahead and set the carrier onto the vehicle. Well set the front part
of the carrier onto the front crossbar and bring up the rubber coated steel straps around
the underside of the crossbar. Well then hook them into position and turn the grey knobs
to tighten it down and secure it to the crossbar. It is important that the carrier is perfectly
vertical to ensure a good fit for your cargo. Once that is tightened down well go ahead
and set the second part of the carrier on the rear crossbar and again bring the rubber
coated steel straps around the underside of the crossbar, hook them into position and
turn the grey knobs to tighten it down and secure it to the vehicle.
Now that the carrier is secured to the vehicle, well go ahead and push the grey buttons on
each end of the carrier to open up the jaws. Well then insert our snowboard and skis into
the jaws and pull them down until you hear a click. Once you hear the click you know
the jaws have been closed successfully. That completes todays test fit for the Thule Flat
Top Ski and Snowboard Carrier, which carries six skis or four snowboards, part number Th92725
on our 2013 Ford Escape. .
