Hello and welcome to My Weekly Geekery, the show in which I talk about what's been going on
in my geeky world over the past seven days.
Top story today is that the full trailer has just been released for the
The Fault in Our Stars movie, it looks really good, so good,
it is two and a half minutes long and I shall link to it below. The film itself
is out in June, mainly. It has many different release dates for the many places in which
it is released.
For instance in the US it is out on june 6th and in the UK
on june 30th. I think. I shall also put a link to the full list of dates below.
In Doctor Who news, Peter Capaldi's Time Lord costume
has been released by the BBC. The costume features a dark blue coat, dark blue trousers,
a white shirt, black Doc Marten's, and a cardigan, or possibly a waistcoat, it's
difficult to tell from the picture.
I'll put a link to the image below. I like it, like Peter Capaldi says:
"no messing, just one hundred percent rebel Time Lord." The costume was released because
Peter Capaldi was out filming on location in Cardiff wearing it
yesterday, with Jenna Coleman, and the TARDIS. It's all getting very exciting again.
The winners of the 2014 National Television Awards were announced last
week.
Doctor Who won Best Drama and Matt Smith won Best Drama performance.
Benedict Cumberbatch accepted his Top TV Detective award via videolink,
wearing board shorts and a suit. Link below.
The cast has been announced for the new Sky Atlantic crime drama, Fortitude, which
is to be filmed in Iceland.
The cast includes Christopher Eccleston, Michael Gambon, Jessica Raine,
Sophie Grabol, Stanley Tucci,Luke Treadaway and Johnny Harris.
The series is a tale of a mysterious death in the Arctic Circle and the communities
attempts to come to terms with it. It will air later on this year.
And finally, Suits season three begins in the UK on
Dave tomorrow, Thursday at 9 p.m. Just a heads up for those who love it as
much as I do.
And if you've never seen it before I recommend it as it is an excellent show.
So in conclusion, Okay? Okay.
This has been My Weekly Geekery.
