Hi, this is Joelle Meijer.
I will show you how to make a decorative cap for Father's Day.
Use the pattern that you'll find in the free document
and draw the visor on a piece of Bristol paper. Then cut out the visor.
Place the visor on the flat edge of a paper bowl
and draw the sides of the visor on the edge of the bowl.
Cut the flat edge all around the bowl except where the visor will be attached.
Along the edge where you will glue the visor, only remove the curved ridge.
Glue the visor to the flat edge that's left on the bowl with white glue.
Hold the visor in place with clothespins.
When the white glue is dry, remove the clothespins.
Paint the outside of the cap in a colour of your choice. And let dry.
Then, paint the inside of the cap.
If you wish, you can add a layer of acrylic varnish for a nicer finish.
Decorate the cap with a picture of the child who will give the cap or with a star
with the number 1 printed on it or any other decoration that would please Dad.
Turn the cap over and fill it with Dad's favourite candy.
Finally, wrap the cap in a nice transparent wrapping and a ribbon!
