Hi I'm Bonnie welcome to this week's video blog.
Today we're going to talk about when it's appropriate to wear short wedding dresses.
In the last few years, short wedding dresses have really become popular, so I thought I'd share a few examples of when it might be appropriate to choose one
The first would be if you're planning a beach wedding. Beach settings are much more casual and informal
So you might want to choose a short dress with sheer flowing fabric so in your photos when the wind blows it looks beautiful!
A couple styles to consider might be a stapless or halter type. Very appropriate for a beach wedding.
Another informal wedding when a short dress might be appropriate is if you're planning a park or garden setting. Why not add some beautiful elements, like
silk or lace to really dress it up? Even a short or tea length dress might be appropriate for this, and you could even add a beautiful bling sash!
Or wear a silk flower in your hair, or at your waste to match your garden surroundings.
Some couples are trying to save money by planning an informal, casual event in their backyard. But why not add some vintage feel or romance to that with your short, casual informal dress by
adding a crenoline skirt or cap sleeve, or off the shoulder style, even some bows might add some interest.
My personal favorite, is for a more formal indoor wedding if you wear a long gown for your ceremony indoors, but then for the reception you change into a short gown so you are comfortable
and can mingle with your guests and dance and have fun! Check out your favorite designers
most designers now will have at least a few short styles to choose from.
Whatever you choose, make sure it makes you feel absolutely beautiful and it's personally yours.
