Hey. Wann stehst du morgens auf? (Hey. When do you get up in the morning?)
Normalerweise wache ich um fünf Uhr auf. (Normally I wake up at 5 o'clock.)
Ich dusche mich. (I shower.)
In der Dusche wasche ich mir die Füße, Beine, Arme, Hände, die Haare, den Bauch, den Rücken, den Hals, und das Gesicht. (In the shower I wash my feet, legs, arms, hands, hair, stomach, back, neck and face.)
Ich trockne mich ab. (I dry myself.)
Ich ziehe mich an. (I get dressed.)
Ich kämme mir die Haare. (I comb my hair.)
Ich putze mir die Zähne. (I brush my teeth.)
Ich rasiere mich. (I shave.)
Ich setze mich vor meinem Computer. (I set myself down in front of my computer.)
Ich sehe mir ein paar YouTube Videos an. (I watch a few YouTube videos.)
Ich beeile mich zur Schule zu kommen. (I hurry to get to school.)
Ich treffe mich dort mit meinen Kollegen. (I meet my collgues there.)
A: Warum benutzt du “mich” und “mir” in diesen Sätzen? (Why do you use "mich" and "mir" in these sentences?)
B: Die Verben, die ich benutzt habe, brauchen Reflexivpronomen. (The verbs that I used, need reflexive pronouns.)
A: Was sind Reflexivpronomen? (What are reflexive pronouns?)
B: Sie sind so wie Spiegelungen von den Personalpronomen. (They are like reflextions of the personal pronouns.)
Die Reflexivpronomen mit Akkusativ lauten wie folgt: (The reflexive pronouns with accusative are as follows:)
Man benutzt den Akkusativ, wenn es kein Objekt gibt. (One uses the accusative if there isn't an object.)
Zum Beispiel: Ich sehe mich an. Beeilst du dich? Er duscht sich. (For example: I look at myself. Are your hurrying? He showers/ is showering.)
Wir freuen uns auf das Wochenende. Setzt euch hin! Sie waschen sich. (We are looking forward to the weekend. Sit down. They are wasching themselves.)
Wenn es ein Objekt gibt, benutzt man den Dativ. (If there is an object, one uses the dative case.)
Das betrifft nur die Personalpronomen in der ersten und zweiten Person - “ich” und “du”. (This only effects the personal pronouns in the first and second person - "ich" and "du".)
Im Dativ sind die Reflexivpronomen: (In the dative case, the reflexive pronouns are:)
Beispiele dafür sind: Ich putze mir die Zähne. Kämmst du dir die Haare? (Examples of that are: I brush my teeth. Are/Do you combing/comb your hair?)
A: Warum benutzt du “die Zähne” und “die Haare” und nicht “meine Zähne” oder “meine Haare”? (Why do you use "the teeth" and "the hair" and not "my teeth" or "my hair"?)
B: Das wäre ein bisschen überflüssig. (That would be a little redundant.)
Das Reflexivpronomen sagt schon aus, dass es sich um meine Zähne und meine Haare handelt. (The reflexive pronouns already states that it is about my teeth and my hair.)
A: Muss man ein Reflexivpronomen mit diesen Verben benutzen? (Does one have to use a reflexive pronoun with these verbs?)
B: Nicht mit jedem Verb auf dieser Liste. Zum Beispiel: (Not with every verb on this list. For example:)
Ich wasche mein Auto. Der Pfleger rasiert den Patient. Die Mutter kämmt die Haare ihrer Tochter. (I wash my car. The nurse shaves the patient. The mother combs her daughter's hair.)
A: Mit welchen Verben benutzt man Reflexivpronomen? (With which verbs does one use the reflexive pronouns?)
B: Es gibt einen Link in der Beschreibung dieses Videos. (There is a link in the description of this video.)
Da kann man eine große Liste von Verben finden, die Reflexivpronomen brauchen. (There one can find a large list of verbs that require reflexive pronouns.)
A: Danke für deine Hilfe. (Thanks for your help.)
B: Hey. Warte! Warum hast du mich über meine Morgenroutine ausgefragt? (Hey. Wait! Why did you ask me about my morning routine?)
A: Ich stalke dich. Tschüss. (I'm stalking you. Bye!)
I hope that this video helped. Thanks for watching. Don't forget to like comment and subscribe. Until next time. Bye.
