If you are looking for an alternative to rubber bands to bind your ends and you have used a heat seal-able fiber like a kanekalon,
you can use your flat iron to seal the ends of your braids. Let's take a look at how that is done.
The first step is to take the braiding fiber and pull a small section away.
We are going to loop this around the end of the braid 5-6 times.
Hold that out of the way and we are going to use the flat iron to create our seal right there.
Using the corner of the flat iron, give it a little pinch.
Once you have it in place, hold that and wiggle the end of your extra fiber.
You want that to pull away.
Once it melts a little bit, it will come right off.
Give it a little bit of a roll to smooth out the edges and you have created your first seal.
