What an honor is to be here today to cut the ribbon on our beautiful
Beautiful beautiful new Marina
Our goal here is not just to have world-class Marina for the 326 or so
Boats that are actually dock here like to provide an opportunity for
Vibrant robust wonderful waterfront recreation so that our kids
That participate in our day camps can come down here and kayak and puddle surf
And learn to sail and really enjoy the most beautiful waterfront in the world
San Francisco's best and most well place
Is the ocean in the bay within three or four hundred feet around us right now are
Wild animals and people on land don't know that there's whales there's porpoises
There's sea lions when the kids go out they're soon to realized there's a world
Of adventured just half a mile from their house
This just epitomizes the beauty
Of public access when you look around you know we see boats but look at the
Variety of the sizes of these boats here
That represents the economic spectrum in California
This is everyone's Marina
It's a reminder to me how important it is to
Make sure that we take care of our waterways and our waterfronts
Recreation is a key part of our mission
Not just for our residents but really for all the number of millions of visitors
Every single year who are coming here
