In this video I'm going to explain US Visa Interview procedures for B1 and L1
There are two stages in visa interview. The first stage is Biomatrix OFC. It's very simple.
It means you need to provide your fingerprint. Keep your fingers safe for 2 days. You may
get rejected even for a small cut in your finger. You need to provide Passport, DS160,
time and payment confirmation slips. Stage 2: it's a very important day. It's Interview
day. Before you leave your home make sure you have your Passport, DS160 confirmation
page, time confirmation page, payment confirmation page, client invite letter and all original
documents. For L1, along with that you have to carry your I-129 petition 3 copies and
payment cheque . Make yourself available in US embassy before 45 minutes prior to your
appointment time. Avoid cell phone, electronic items and even coin. They will be providing
Token Number before entering the interview hall.
Once entering the interview hall, authorities will scan your token slip.
For B1, counter number for the specific token will be displayed in the screen.
For L1, the consulate people will help you to bind your I-129 form , passport and payment
cheque. Submit these documents to the payment counter, the cashier will give you the confirmation
slip. Wait until your counter number for the specific token display in the screen.
Tips for interview: Do's
1. Say "Hi, Good morning and ask how are you" with a smiling face
2. Feel free to speak 3. Answer the questions with confidence
Do not's 1. Don't cross the yellow line until you get
a call from the interviewer. 2. Don't get panic.
3. Answer quick and simple, don't elaborate. The interviewer will confirm your status immediately.
While leaving the counter, say "Thank you"
