I'm going to show you a little trick to get the handlebars aligned perfectly straight.
The common method is to go ahead, put your knees on either side of the wheel,
loosen the stem, kind of adjust it, eyeball it. You can maybe look down the stem
and say is it aligned with the wheel? You eyeball it
and tighten it down. Then you get on the road and you ride down and you go these just
don't seem quite straight.
But I am going to show you a little trick. Just take a regular ruler,
put it against the edges
of the fork. Now you have a nice straight edge
to go ahead and align the handlebars to. Just
get it to where it's perfectly aligned with the ruler,
tighten the stem down. And you're done. Now you have perfectly straight handlebars.
It's that simple. I hope that helps!
