Awww! It's such a lovely moon-lit night, isn't it TIGER?
Oh yes! But tomorrow the moon will again be
a little smaller than a full circle.
That's right! In fact, as a kid,
I used to wonder why we don't have full moon every night.
Well, why don't we PROFESSOR?
The Moon rotates around the Earth
and completes one rotation in about 28 days.
During these days,
the Sun rays fall differently on the Moon
and we get to see everything from a crescent moon,
to a half moon,
to a full moon
and even no moon during the 28 days period.
Oh! Then the shape of the moon changes because of the Sun
and not because of the Earth.
Exactly. It's purely because of the Sun.
