If the modifications to your Mustang
prohibit you from running tailpipes,
you need our Flowmaster Dumped Exhaust kit.
It fits '86 to '98 V-8 Mustangs, as well as
'79 to '85 V-8 Mustangs with a dual exhaust conversion.
It's made up of two and 1/2-inch aluminized steel tubing
and features the Super 44 two-chamber Delta Flow
Mufflers.
Installation can be done in your driveway
with common hand tools, and you will experience
interior drilling and resonation with this kit.
Installation of the Flowmaster turndown kit
requires the removal of your old catback.
With that out of the way, check your rubber insulators,
and replace as needed.
Slide one dump into the insulator,
and connect at the mid-pipe.
Repeat for the other side, and final
tighten the retaining hardware after proper alignment.
At the rear of the muffler, slide one of the clamps
onto the muffler outlet, and insert
one of the turndown pipes.
Align the outlet, and fully tighten the clamp.
Repeat all of this for the other side.
