Hello everyone. How are you?
I am OK.
I don't know how one says "Happy New" Year in German.
So I searched for it in the Internet.
And there they say it's "Prosit Neujahr".
So, Prosit Neujahr!
I should have done a new video after Christmas but I did not have the time.
No, but yes! I had time, a lot of time, but I wasn't up for it (LAZY!).
So I wanted to sing Stille Nacht for you, but I wasn't able to make the video.
Maybe next year I will sing Stille Nacht.
So today I am going to talk about my New Year's Resolutions.
Yes, travel! Last December I haven't done any new language video
because I went to Batanes.
Batanes is a group of islands in the north, not far from Taiwan
but they are islands of the Philippines.
So, it was nice, I was very tired but very nice, good time.
So this year I want to travel more.
So from January to June I am going to see the tourist spots in the Philippines,
and in July I will fly to Hongkong and Macau, and from September, I will travel in Southeast Asia.
Yes, so travel! Travel is very nice. Travel is pleasant. I love travel!
It is my new hobby.
Obviously I would still learn languages.
So I bought new books,
the books that are used in language institutes worldwide.
For Japanese I bought this book: Genki.
Twelve... How do you say "Chapter" in German? ,,Chapitre"?
I don't know. So it has 12 chapters.
Course book. Workbook. CDs.
For Korean, this book.
This book is used in the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.
This is the book that they use there.
Thirty seven chapters but short, like six or eight pages per chapter.
So short. So, I'll do two chapters a week.
For Japanese, one chapter a week.
For Chinese I use this book, which we used in Confucius Institute last year,
because I wasn't serious with Chinese last year.
So there are fourteen chapters, but I would like to do a review.
Tomorrow I begin with Dutch.
Fifteen chapters. I will do a chapter a week.
"Spoken World Dutch"
I think, or I believe, or I wish, that now that I have already learned a lot of German,
Dutch will be easier.
And for Spanish and French I think I'll take the exams.
For Spanish B2 and for French B1.
So I would like to do more videos in Spanish and in French because I want to practice.
I am reading this book. It is for C1, but I am taking the exam for B2.
I haven't done a language exam before,
so I don't know what to expect.
So I will take the B2 exam in May and then, maybe in November I will take the C1 exam.
I am not sure yet.
In August I would like to do a Dutch Summer course at Leuven University in Belgium.
I choose Belgium because it is in the middle of Europe and maybe on weekends I could go to the Netherlands or Germany.
And the course is cheap. So I wish I would be granted a visa.
It is my dream to study in a university in Europe for at least a month.
So good luck, and happy new year!
