Alright, overall, everything's done. All the bolts have been torqued down really well on
there. All the clamps... I made sure it's all on there really well...okay?
Now, you may encounter some resistance because...
the bolts that I used earlier were different from the ones that were provided by the makers
of the exhaust.
But, the catalytic converter bolts...17mm, okay? 17mm, so that didn't change.
So, why don't we fire her up, and we'll go from there.
Like my Crocs?
Hmmm...alright. Let's see how it sounds like when we step on the gas...
Okay, silencer time.
Okay, I put the silencer on. I didn't bolt it down because I'm just gonna try it...without
the bolt, or with the silencer, but not the bolt, because I don't think I'm keep it on
there.
Okay, a little quieter.
A little bit annoying when you step on the gas though...
Huh... So what's the verdict? Should I keep the silencer on or off?
That was, uh, quite an experience.
The total install probably took about a good two hours.
Actually, it took me three because I was doing it by myself, but if you have a help of a
good buddy, it'll take you about two.
Maybe one if you had a power tool of some sort to make things go a little faster.
Um, make sure all, like I said before in the beginning, make sure you have all your equipment
& tools ready is exactly what I meant because, um...
The bolts, I neglected to mention, that the bolts for the new exhaust system setup were
different from the ones that I used to take off, um, the old one.
Now... Good set of tools, always the key. Patience. Good tools. Luckily, I had those
gloves on. Otherwise, I would've really busted my knuckles under there.
A lot of... I cleaned myself up a little as you can tell. Because a whole bunch of pieces
of dirt, debris, um, pieces of little rusts, here and there, that came off the exhaust
were flying all over my face. Luckily for the goggles, that wasn't the case.
So, overall, the install... If you're not used to it, it's gonna be hard.
But to be honest with you, this was the probably like the second exhaust system I installed
on a car by myself.
I've done numerous ones before. Unfortunately, I never actually documented it.
So, uh, in conclusion, once again, be safe, have everything ready before you start.
If you have to make a trip to the auto parts store just to pick up a couple of things before
you start the job, I would do it.
Have a few bucks ready, like I said in my other videos, because you gotta pay to play.
Be ready... Oh, dispose of your old metals accordingly. If you can recycle 'em, recycle
'em. If somebody else wants 'em (I don't know who would...), give it to 'em, and let them
dispose of it.
So, with that, um, be safe out there. Don't do anything crazy, you young kids, alright?
See ya later!
