History was made on Day-5 of the Sochi Winter Games... when a double gold was issued...
after two skiiers both finished first during the women's downhill.
And for the first time in the 78 years of Olympics in Alpine Skiing... two downhill
skiiers... Tina Maze of Slovenia and Dominique Gisin of Switzerland both finished tied for
1st... with a time of 1 minute 41-point-57 seconds. Despite the
event missing the defending champion Lindsay Vonn... the double gold brought excitment
to the fans who watched history being made.
