Huy Long Nguyen: Some of my favourite memories of studying at a New South Wales government school
include the English and all the subjects I studied there
We could do hands on experiments in Biology and Chemistry
On Wednesday afternoons we played sports a lot
And during maths exams because you're excited and doing all the figures
Since I left New South Wales government schools I've been studying Bachelor of Pharmacy at University of Sydney
My second year is starting in about two weeks.
I've also joined some volunteer activities like the school tutoring program
I'm planning on joining the Fred Hollows Society and The Red Cross in the coming years.
I've also tried different social activities, in music, choir and musicals.
I've gained some confidence in tackling problems.
I've got this "try your best" and "try everything that is available" attitude.
because that not only extends my experiences but also
helps to evaluate my current capabilities in different aspects
not only academically but also in my social life
and things beyond studying
giving presentations and interacting with peers and other people
And I've also built some good friendships from there.
